Summary: Vinotemp VT-32TEDS - died in 5 months
Comment: I am totally dis-satisfied with the Vinotemp VT-32TEDS. The temperature control failed in under 5 months and the warranty is just 3 months. This is just poor and unacceptable quality.

Summary: Worked for awhile then broke
Comment: I have received two incarnations of this refrigerator. Both were damaged despite double packaging. The first was actually damaged less than the replacement, so I finally gave up and kept the first.

I have kept reds 60+...that side is still operational. I got a dual zone to keep whites in sub-50deg temps because I have a fair number of sparkling wines. The refrigerator has a hard time keeping temps below 50, despite the settings allowing temps down to 46degrees. In actuality, it can probably get to 48 at the lowest.

So I had the white side set to that temperature. Every 2-3 weeks the temp would start climbing at which point a cleansing of the filter would get it back to working order. However, a few months ago the white side broke down. I worked with technical support a few times, but they were not all that helpful. The warrantly is something along the lines of 90 days (not very long for such a big purchase) so they would not do much to help me.

Overall:
- It is not unlikely you will get a damaged product, at which point you will wait for weeks if not months (as it was in my case) for a replacement to arrive.
- Will require frequent cleaning for the cooler side to work.
- If you are planning on getting something for the long-term, this is not your best bet. It would probably be fine if you were keeping things in the 55+ degree range, but then why even bother with a dual zone refrigerator?

Summary: Expected problems - got none
Comment: Reading all the bad reviews caused concern. Then I noted those reviews were before the company got it act together. My wine refridge arrived well packed and clean of any deficts. I love the fact that the two sides (17 bottles each) has separate temp controls. I have some 20 plus year old reds which I need to keep stabilized so have them on one side at 51 degrees. The younger reds are kept at 59 to allow them to mature a little faster. Great looking product also. Couldn't be happier.

Summary: Needs Better Packaging
Comment: After reading all the reviews I decided to take a chance and buying the wine cooler. If this were Las Vegas I have lost. The outer box only had two small pieces of Styrofoam on the sides protecting the inner box. There were many rips and tarries on the outer box, which looked like it was beat-up during shipping. The inner layer box was in good condition and I was crossing my fingers for no damage. Unfortunately I was wrong, the damage on the refrigerator looked like it had been dropped because the left door is extremely bent. I am now working on my replacement and hoping this one will be in better shape with better packaging.

My advice for the Vinotemp Company is to use better packaging, A LOT MORE use of styrofome, "this side up" labels, and fragile stickers. Also find a better shipping vender, which might cost a little more, but at this point your customer are willing to pay the price for non-damage products. This might get you better reviews.

Summary: Horrible wine refrigerator
Comment: I ordered this wine refrigerator in May for my husband as a surprise - about a month after ordering, the temperature control panel on one side of the refrigerator stopped working and you couldn't change the temperature. Vinotemp sent repairmen to fix it and they ordered a new part but it still doesn't work. We were told by Vinotemp that they would give us a new refrigerator, but only if we paid to ship the old one back, further escalating the cost of a product that has been nothing but trouble. Now the other side of the refrigerator's temperature control panel is broken and the temperature is now too cold to even store wine in. All in all a complete disaster.

Useful information: How should I decorate my kitchen?

What will you choose, paint or wallpaper? Modern emulsion paints are very easy to apply using rollers, brushes or pads. Two coats of a good quality silk finish are recommended for durable cover. If your kitchen front is plain you can liven up the room by choosing patterned wallpaper. A light colour will make your room appear larger. Because kitchens are working rooms where moisture, grease and dust collect choose a wipe clean surface such smooth vinyl. Avoid embossed papers as they accumulate dirt, are hard to clean and easily graze.
